SKANSKA's imperiled Tree of Life

As construction of SKANSKA's Capitol Tower progresses, the fate of the tree mural on the walls of the garage on the South-East corner remains uncertain. It wouldn't be the first mural demise on the city block bounded by Milam, Capitol, Travis, and Rusk. The demolition of the Houston Club Building on the same block also marked the end of a mural with themes of early Houston at the Cameron JPMorgan Chase Plaza on the NW corner of the block.
