Restaurant openings on and off S. Shepherd: Nobie's, Osaka Cafe, Alcaliente & Honey Art (Updated)

JUST IN TIME FOR THE COLD SEASON

 Before the firing comes the hiring: ALCALIENTE now looking for help.

The EAT HERE exhortation is still mounted on the pole above the door,
but the vintage 59 Diner sign in the parking lot (see above) is now gone.

nobie's now open for dinner in former French Bistro space 
with front patio, but no longer shaded by huge oak tree, which was felled.

 OSAKA CAFE 

NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH OSAKA RESTAURANT 
ON LOWER WESTHEIMER 

Osaka Cafe also now open, according to the neon sign (Dec 7, 2016)
in former DOSI Korean restaurant space across from Starbucks at Herold St.

It's the third Asian concept in the free-standing building near Shepherd Square 
 in only a few years.
