|New to the neighborhood: HONEY art cafe|
It's a new concept originated by a pair of Rice University grads that encompasses healthy food and art, and not merely art of the culinary kind. Read the story and see food pics here. The duo got their start with art classes and they are now opening their own art cafe space, which will also be available for rental as a venue for small group events. The company's name is as lovely as a lullaby: LULU LIN LLC. The closest existing art & cafe combo that comes to mind is Inversion Coffee House and the art league of houston on Montrose. But there, the two establishments only share a building. Honey art cafe offers a fusion of art and ingestibles that goes beyond merely having paintings hung on the walls.
