Smoothie King's bummer of a burgundy rebranding

Lamentably, Smoothie King has dropped the happy red-white-and-yellow look, and gone for white and burgundy, all the while claiming to remain original...while the Halal Guys, Golden Chick, and snap kitchen now lay claim to the vibrant colors in the name of trendiness. At least the King didn't follow the bad example of JCI Grill (formerly James Coney Island) by truncating down to SK on top of trying to stay alive by going into deep red.

Honestly, it looked much better before ..

The S. Shepherd - W Alabama location hasn't yet
fully transitioned, as the May 1, 2016 pics below attests.

And while we are on the topic of brand rejuvenation, Taco Cabana needs the logo and sign refurbishment much more urgently than Smoothie King.
