Henry Brashear Building (1882) on Prairie facing facelift

The Henry Brashear Building dates from 1882, as shown by the year marker at roof level. It was designed by Eugene T. Heiner and is a good examples of a Victorian-era commercial building in Houston. The name of the building is shown in mosaic tiles at the threshold, though deteriorated.
