According to a small ad appearing in the Sunday edition of the Houston Chronicle, french-country-antique store made in france is closing its doors for good at the corner of Kirby and Westheimer after 37 years in business.
A store closing sale will be held through November 21. The store is wedged between the Local Foods and Comerica Bank in the Kirby Oaks Shopping Center. The stretch of Westheimer between Kirby and S. Shepherd has been plagued by construction-caused closures and delays, and reduced ease of access to restaurants and stores. See earlier post on never-ending Westheimer road (re)construction.
