Ever since the Montrose Fiesta store a on Dunlavy closed for good to make room for the Susanne development, neighborhood Fiesta fans had to consider shopping at one of the alternatives -- H-E-B, Randalls, Trader Joe's, or Kroger -- or make a trip to Fiesta's Midtown store on Wheeler at San Jacinto, -- a decidedly less appealing location. So, it is a welcome sign that Fiesta has replaced the roof, assuming it's only the first step in a series of upgrades yet to come. To make the entire surrounding area more appealing, however, will require more than the initiative of a single business.
