Vacant no more: The shopping center in South-West corner of Lower Westheimer and Montrose is approaching fully-leased status. If you are getting sick of the mattresses, you will soon be able to seek help next door: remodeling is under way for an ER clinic at the (somewhat) historic shopping center, SignatureCare is the third new tenant in the property that had been sitting largely empty for some time before the Houston-area mattress boom gained momentum and started soaking up idle retail spaces near and far.

The faint hints at art-deco are apparently getting even fainter as the facade is being enhanced with a new protrusion into the parking lot fronting Westheimer that was itself upgraded with a new coat of asphalt at the start of the year in preparation for the retail renaissance.
